Highlights of last year 2 0 1 2 ❤

Hooray! I have finally had the chance of updating my blog. I know I haven't updated this since last August but I have been genuinely busy. Last September I started college so that was pretty hectic, went to Italy with my fambam and during the last few months of 2012 I was flooded with exams, practicing piano, preparing my 18th birthday and then it was Christmas&New Year.

However, I have to say that last year 2012 has been an amazing journey for me. I have made new friends and have gained extraordinary memories. I have also learnt so much on this year. I learnt to always be early in your flight; at least two hours early, too not procrastinate on doing something and to be much more organised.

I want  thank God for giving me wonderful blessing this year as he got me into a great university, National University of Ireland in Maynooth, blessed me with new friends, made me try out new experiences and visit various places, ticked off five things in my bucket list and set up an asian store in our house.

This year I want to make much more memories and stay committed to my New Year's Resolution; The 50 week cover project of which I'll share my talents.

For now I want to share with some of the random shots during the past year in no particular order.

Cooking Take 3 - Peanut butter Bears

Lately I have been busy as I had begun my Semester Two of college. However, I will not break my resolution of updating my blog and so here's a post for you.
As you all know, I am quite a creative person and I love to cook and bake food. Yesterday I made these amazing peanut butter bears. My mother bought me a Cooking Book yesterday "Easy Peasy: Cooking with Kids" by Annabel Karmel. It's quite funny I know but it's a great book if you want to learn how to cook simple everyday food.I would definitely recommend this book if you have young children who want to learn how to cook or bake. I have posted the recipe underneath. Enjoy and Bon Appetite!

Here's the recipe for the Peanut Bears "Great for Teddy Bear's picnic, teatime or a birthday party"

You will need
40g Rice Krispies
75g icing sugar
2tbsp Sesame Seeds
100g smooth peanut butter
40g unsalted butter

To decorate
6 chocolate buttons
Mini M&Ms
Black writing Icing

For the decoration part I had to improvise with pistachios and Smarties but anything will do as long as it looks like teddy bears in the end.

Cooking Take 2 ♥ Food For a Week.

I haven't had time to post much on my blog but I did manage to cook good, healthy food during the month of August.  There's little time in the world to update a blog but always enough to cook good food.  This is what I had for a week. For the upcoming year I hope to update a lot more. I wanted to start in September but as you might or may know I will be starting college in Maynooth so I won't have much time to update this blog.  Next Year, I'll be planning a 50 Week Youtube Challange project and posting much more interesting things. I love you all and I'll keep you updated.
