Inspiration #3 Kari Jobe

The more I seek You: Live Performance

Why is she my inspiration? Because she has motivated me to be closer with God. She has motivated me to sing out and share my voice and not just to hide away. She has built up my confidence within myself.

                                         

As an introverted child growing up I was extremely shy and lacked confidence in myself. I knew that I had talents and capabilities but I was shy in sharing them with others. My family, friends and relatives  told me that I should learn to perform in front of people and to share the musical abilities that I have but I was really, really shy. Growing up, I learnt to build up my self esteem and confidence with others and within myself. I have learnt to overcome my fears of singing in public, performing and talking in public. One of the influences that helped me overcome my introverted self was Kari Jobe.

I remember the first time listened to her perform "The more I seek You" written by Zack Neese, I was inspired to know God more. Her songs make a day a little bit better when at times they get rough and dark. She has one of the most beautiful voices that I have ever heard and she shares her voice with the world inspiring others. Watching her perform live and the interviews, I have inspired by her courageousness and great humility. She has an incredible voice but she does not only do it all for money and fame but to spread the message of God. It is truly fascinating and inspiring to see that someone could be this amazing.

Inspiration #2 :BOOM Lighthouse Community Church

I recently have joined this youth group called BOOM in our local community church, Lighthouse. Since last November I have met these amazing group of people, with whom I have learnt a lot from and have created a lot of memories with. I labelled this as my inspiration because they really are one of inspirations. Every Friday when I go I feel inspired to do unimaginable things. I feel motivated to keep going through troubled times and I feel inspired to learn more about God. One of the biggest things in my life is my faith. I don't know what I would do if I had none. This post is dedicated to these people.

 Tonight, we had a social event night and I got to know these people much more. We played a lot of games, danced and just had a lot of fun. Even though my team didn't win. I am an angry chicken forever " Fly like a butterfly, Angry chickens we are on the rise ". 

I am truly blessed to have them in my life. 

Inspiration #1 Bob Marley

This post is dedicated to my reggae  music idol Bob Marley. He was a revolutionary man who created legendary music. I admired him ever since I was little because of how his music could make me instantly happy.I remember dancing to his music all the time. My favourites were the classic "Don't Worry Be Happy", "Jammin'" and "Get Up, Stand Up". Although many people call him just a "weed smoker" or a "junkie", to me he was a man who truly had a God given talent. He had a rare ability to put a smile on anyone's face when they listen to his music- it was almost like you were high with him. He was also a wise man who said many true and inspirational things. I have a poster hanging on my bedroom wall just because I think what he said was definitely true "One good thing about music, it that when you feel it, you feel no pain". I have also admired his dedication in his work. An interview with Gil Noble (link below) shows that he had always aspired to a musician ever since he was little. He dreamed that he would become a famous musician when he was just a child and he pursued it. That is one of his many great qualities that I adored: his commitment and dedication. I hope to one day pursue my dream in life ( secret).

Inspiration - Hang Drums

It's amazing to find out different types of Music online and even better a NEW instrument. Where's your Skrillex now?. I don't know if this instrument has been around for centuries but it's new to me and it just has a different feel to other instruments. INSPIRATION *lightbulb*
